Doctors Monicha Hamil Drew and David Drew began practice in Carrollton, GA in 1990. Monicha graduated from Emory University with degrees in Biology and Religion. David recieved his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of South Florida. Both are graduates of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. They were very fortunate to have worked with Dr. Alvin Crews and purchased his respected practice upon his retirement.
A native of the West Georgia area, Monicha enjoys being back home near her family and friends. In addition to practicing full time, Monicha is very active as a parent volunteer and serves as a member of the board of trustees at Oak Mountain Academy. Monicha's commitment is to comprehensive family dental care with special interests in cosmetic procedures and implant restoration.
Dr. David Drew is originally from Orlando, Florida. His particular area of interest within the practice are root canal therapy and implant restoration. Outside the practice, David enjoys delivering dentistry in the mission field. He is dedicated to organizing and serving on medical mission teams, both locally and in Central America. He is also very committed to serving our patients by participating in organized dentistry at the district and state levels of the Georgia Dental Association.
Monicha and David reside in Carrollton with their children Lee and Jessi. They are active members of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church. The family enjoys athletics, camping, hiking, and all water sports.
Dr. Tammy Driskell Armstrong joined the practice in 2004. She is also a native of the West Georgia area and currently resides in Villa Rica, GA with her daughter Zoie. She graduated form Emory University with degrees in Biology and Psychology, as well as Medical College of Georgia with her dental degree. After graduating from dental school and before joining the Southern Dental team, Tammy practiced in Newnan, GA for four years. Her interests within the practice are cosmetic procedures, root canal therapy, as well as delivering dental care for the entire family.
